Trama:
Operazione Speciale: Lioness è una serie tv creata dall'ideatore di Yellowstone Taylor Sheridan ispirandosi a un vero programma militare statunitense. La star di Avatar Zoe Saldaña interpreta la volitiva e cocciuta Joe, punto di riferimento della CIA nella guerra al terrorismo. Mentre la seguiamo nei suoi tentativi di bilanciare vita privata e professionale, il programma Lioness, supervisionato da Kaitlyn Meade (il premio Oscar Nicole Kidman) e Donald Westfield (Michael Kelly, House of Cards), arruola Cruz Manuelos (Laysla De Oliveira, Locke & Key), una giovane Marine dal carattere rude ma appassionata, incaricandola di operare sotto copertura insieme con Joe per smantellare un'organizzazione terroristica dall'interno e sventare il prossimo 11 settembre.
Con una lunga carriera in politica, Kaitlyn deve destreggiarsi tra le trappole dell'essere una donna tra i massimi ranghi dell'intelligence, una moglie che desidera ardentemente l'attenzione che lei stessa non può dare e un mentore per qualcuno che si aggira con sospetto vicino alla stessa strada rocciosa su cui si è trovata.
