In the fictional port town of Sukago, low-level gangster Noboru Bingo is caught having an affair with his boss’s mistress. To save his life he promises to deliver the legendary hitman Della Togashi. Unable to find the real assassin, Bingo hires a struggling actor, Taiki Murata, and convinces him that he is starring in a gangster movie. Murata throws himself into the role with total commitment, treating the real gangsters as fellow actors and turning the situation into escalating slapstick chaos.
A lively ensemble comedy about performance, mistaken identity, and the thin line between movie fantasy and real-life danger.
