This is a rather crucial movie in the debate over values in the western hemisphere.
While disgusted at the notion of a woman involved in intimate relations (even pregnancy
outside marriage) set in 1964 Dublin, A Bus conductor (played by Sir Albert Finney) who
likes to put on plays by Oscar Wilde makes an impassioned speech on the public streets
about the loftiness of "misunderstood" Homosexuality as a way of a happy life, yet the
experience he is hiding from the evening prior would tell a hood tale instead.
Still he remains hopeful that the next time will be more to his own idea
of bliss in such regards.
Sir Michael Gambon leads the charge against "loose morals" as is the common
place cause of concern in a puritanical atmosphere of the time
This is a streamed copy as I couldn't find a place to purchase a download
or download for free - except a Russian dubbed version alas! The disc
from amazon UK is pricy and would not have been here quickly enough
to get you started with at least a 720p singular streamed version availed
to me last night
Thanks for seeding
