What happened to Free Comic Book Day?
Due to the bankruptcy and closure of Diamond Comics Distributors, the Free Comic Book Day branding is no longer used and it is now called Comic GIveaway Day. Still happening on the first Saturday in May, Comic Giveaway Day/FCBD has been around since 2002 and gives away dozens of free comics to the community from a variety of publishers.
