Trama
Katherine Newberry è una leggenda della televisione americana. Unica donna alla conduzione di un talk-show serale
trentennale, ha smesso da tempo di mettersi in discussione e comanda con dispotismo uno staff di autori, tutti
maschi, che non si degna nemmeno di incontrare di persona. Ma i tempi cambiano, gli ascolti calano, Katherine viene
accusata di odiare le donne e minacciata di essere sostituita. Improvvisamente costretta a correre ai ripari,
ordina al suo staff di rendere lo show nuovamente alla moda e divertente, e assume per caso la "quota rosa" Molly
Patel, un giovane inesperta di origini indiane, cresciuta con il sogno di diventare un giorno come lei.
