from his divine birth in Mathura, childhood leelas in Vrindavan, his relationship
with Radha, the killing of Kamsa, the Kurukshetra War, the teachings of the Bhagavad
Gita, and beyond. The series first aired on DD Metro on 18 July 1993 and ran through
1999. During the COVID-19 lockdown in 2020, it surpassed both Ramayan and Mahabharat
