01 The Blob Remastered - Horror 1958.
Out on a date one evening, teenagers Steve Andrews and Jane Martin are parked in a
secluded location looking at the stars when they see something fall out of the sky
to the ground off in the distance. They go looking for what the falling object is,
but instead find an elderly man they don't know in medical distress with something
on his hand, he who they drive to Dr. Hallen's office. They are able to catch Dr.
Hallen just before he was about to leave to attend an out of town conference. What
no one yet knows is that the gelatinous mass covering the elderly man's hand was
inside that falling object, it an alien life form that is looking for flesh to
consume to be able to grow. Steve is the first survivor to witness that gelatinous
blob totally consume someone to death. While Jane believes Steve's story, he is
unable to convince anyone in authority, including the police, of what he saw,
namely that there is a deadly "monster" for lack of a better word that threatens
the survival of everyone in town. Steve and Jane go on a mission to find proof of
the existence of the blob before it's too late, and even if they do find it, they,
with anyone else they are able to convince of its deadly nature, have to find out
a way to kill or neutralise it.

02 Beware The Blob - Horror 1972.
The oil pipeline worker Chester Hargis brings a small container with a frozen
specimen of the Blob from the North Pole to be analysed by his company. He leaves
in the freezer of his house, but his wife Mariane forgets the container on the
kitchen sink, defrosting the Blob that eats a fly, the cat Samuel and Mariane. When
it grows and while eating Chester, the youngster Lisa Clark sees and drives to the
house of her boyfriend Bobby Hartford seeking help. Sheriff Jones does not believe
in her and says that she is high. But soon the creature grows and eats several
people, including a police officer, two youngsters, a barber, his client Sheriff
Jones and his officers believe there is a hysteria, but when the Blob invades a
bowling, they see how serious the problem is.

03 The Blob ReBoot - Horror 1988.
Meg Penny is a cheerleader out on her first date with one of the football players,
Paul Taylor. It doesn't go very well. Before they get where they're going, an old
vagrant runs out in front of Paul's car, screaming in terror. The old man is
closely followed by Brian Flagg, the local teen rebel, complete with long hair,
black leather jacket, motorcycle and tough-guy attitude. Paul blames Brian for
chasing the old man, but after the threesome takes him to the doctor's office, it
becomes clear the vagrant had more to worry about than some young tough. He was
screaming because of the acid-like substance on his hand - a substance that spreads
over his body and eventually consumes him. Soon, the growing red blob, which
sprouts tentacles to attack its victims, becomes a menace to the small town of
Arbeville, Colorado. The military soon arrives in Hazmat suits, led by the wide
eyed Dr. Christopher Meddows. They're from the government, they say, and they want
to help; but Brian's distrust for authority figures proves justified when he learns
of their true motives.
