Trama:
Harry e Sally si incontrano quando lei gli dà un passaggio per New York dopo la laurea all'Università di Chicago. Il film ripercorre le loro vite mentre entrambi cercano l'amore, senza successo, incontrandosi ripetutamente. Alla fine, tra loro sboccia una profonda amicizia, ed entrambi apprezzano la presenza di un amico del sesso opposto.
