A fire in a Copenhagen antiquarian bookstore and the theft of a rare Bible once owned by Charles Darwin pull Commander Gray Pierce and Sigma Force into a conspiracy reaching back to Nazi occult science and a hidden laboratory carved into a Polish mountain. Meanwhile, in a remote Nepalese monastery, monks descend into murderous madness and cannibalism; Dr. Lisa Cummings and undercover Sigma director Painter Crowe are soon infected by the same mysterious affliction and hunted by a clandestine assassin. Racing across continents, Sigma uncovers a plot centered on horrific eugenics‑style experiments and a quest to manipulate the fundamentals of life itself, threatening a new world order and humanity’s future.
