E01 Meet Martha Jones
The Doctor has a new companion, Martha Jones. By sheer courage and determination, she has wowed the Time Lord and been offered a place on board the Tardis. Featuring exclusive footage from the third series and interviews with Freema Agyeman, who plays Martha, David Tennant and head writer Russell T Davies, the programme examines the development of Martha's character and the huge interest behind the casting of the new companion.

E02 Stage Fright
The production team recreated some of the most breathtaking scenes to date as Martha's first trip in the Tardis takes her to Elizabethan England to meet William Shakespeare. With extensive footage both in the studio and on location through the long nights at London's Globe Theatre, this episode of Confidential highlights how this visual feast was created.

E03 Are We There Yet?
There's a report from the green screen studios to witness how some of this series' most complicated action sequences were shot. Set in New New York, far in the future with endless space-age motorways and plentiful CGI, the filming of Gridlock was a big challenge for all involved. Plus, how guest star Ardal O'Hanlon was transformed into his character Brannigan and chats with David Tennant, Freema Agyeman and head writer Russell T Davies.

E04 A New York Story
Daleks in Manhattan is set in New York in the 1930s and writer Helen Raynor goes Stateside to capture some inspiration by looking out at Manhattan, walking through Central Park, and seeing exactly how people lived in tenement buildings in the 30s.

E05 Making Manhattan
There's a trip to to Manhattan to find out how to recreate 1930s New York in the heart of south Wales. The producer and director of episodes four and five visit the New York locations they plan to reproduce and the visual effects supervisor shows what they need to make Manhattan in Cardiff

E06 Monsters Inc
An episode just wouldn't be the same without a monster, but the creation of such a beast is never easy, especially when it's purely computer- generated. There's a look at some of the prosthetic and CGI monsters created since the series returned in 2005 and an interview with guest star Mark Gatiss.

E07 Space Craft
There's access to the programme's art department and a tour of the mind-blowing spaceship sets and locations. Plus, a journey back in time to look at some of the best spaceship designs of the past five decades. Guest star Michelle Collins discusses her role as the ship's captain, and how she felt performing stunts on her very first day on set.

E08 Alter Ego
There's a trip to Manhattan to find out how to recreate 1930s New York in the heart of south Wales. The producer and director of episodes four and five visit the New York locations they plan to reproduce and the visual effects supervisor shows what they need to make Manhattan in Cardiff.

E09 Bad Blood
With the Family of Blood breathing down the neck of the Doctor's alter ego, time is running out for John Smith. E11 'Ello 'Ello 'Ello
Behind-the-scenes look at the making of Doctor Who. After being left alone by the Doctor and Rose in series one, Captain Jack Harkness returns and there's an interview with the actor who plays him, John Barrowman.

E12 The Saxon Mystery
Behind-the-scenes look at the making of Doctor Who. It's back to earth with a bump for the Doctor and his companions as they come face to face with the infamous Mr Saxon, brought to life by actor John Simm. The team use a number of locations to bring his story to life and Simm discusses how he prepared for the role.

E13 The Valiant Quest
Two enemies square up for a battle of valiant proportions in the series finale, and there are interviews with David Tennant, John Simm, Freema Agyeman, Russell T Davies, Julie Gardner and Phil Collinson.

E01 A Noble Return
Catherine Tate returns as the unstoppable Donna Noble. In her search for The Doctor, Donna finds herself face-to-face with the mighty Miss Foster and a larger-than-life threat against mankind. With the tension rising, the programme gets up close and personal with the Doctor's latest companion from her first days on set through to her battle against an army of sinister Adipose. Features interviews with Tate, David Tennant and Sarah Lancashire.

E02 The Italian Job
There's a trip to Rome to witness the making of the Doctor's latest volcanic voyage. Filming at the famous Cinecitta Studios, the production team face an Italian job of colossal proportions, while David Tennant heads up Pompeii and climbs Mount Vesuvius.

E03 Oods and Ends
There's a trip to the Ood Sphere to witness the return of the mysterious Ood to the world of the Doctor, and a look at the various methods which go into making an Ood. Plus, how a quarry in Wales in the middle of summer gets turned into a winter wonderland, and David Tennant gets turned into an all-action hero to escape a mechanical menace. E04 Send in the Clones
Former companion Martha Jones is back and the Earth is under threat from an arch-enemy. From location, there's all the backstage action from the Doctor's latest gripping adventure. As confusion abounds, the Time Lord, Donna and Martha join forces in a battle to save the human race. Featuring interviews with David Tennant, Catherine Tate, Freema Agyeman and Russell T Davies.

E05 Sontar-Ha!
The Sontarans are back and, with their invasion plans threatening the Earth, the Doctor is forced to face his enemy one more time. Features in-depth interviews with David Tennant, Colin Baker and Elisabeth Sladen on their experiences with the Sontarans, and Chris Ryan on life behind the prosthetics and playing General Stahl.

E06 Sins of the Fathers
There's a new kid on the block and the Doctor isn't impressed, as his daughter Jenny bounds into view, and a look back through the Doctor's generation time line to find out why two Doctors can sometimes be better than one. E07 Nemesis
Behind-the-scenes look at the making of Doctor Who. The Doctor and Donna travel back to the 1920s and enjoy an unexpected encounter with Agatha Christie. All is well until the party reveals an unwanted guest with a sting in its tail. We find out exactly what goes into creating a classic murder mystery, what it's like behind the scenes with such a big ensemble cast and discover the mysterious events surrounding the real Agatha Christie. E08 Shadow Play
The Doctor and Donna are on the set of the eerie Library Planet to confront the monsters of the dark, the vicious Vashta Nerada. There's a look at how these shadowy creatures are created, how a disused library in Swansea became the setting for all the universe's books, how the effects boys and crew take it in turns to fire books in the general direction of David Tennant and how writer Steven Moffat has contributed to the series.

E09 River Runs Deep
Alex Kingston talks about her role as time-travelling archaeologist River Song, the sinister world of the library is explored and there's a feature on the mysterious Dr Moon and Donna's adventures away from the Doctor. Writer Russell T Davies discusses the programme's mythology and renewed success.

E10 Look Who's Talking
The travelling Timelord swaps his TARDIS for alternative transport, the secrets behind things that go bump in the night are revealed and there's a look at how the sound team put together the complicated soundscape of the programme. There's the paint job to end all paint jobs as the Daleks come storming back on to British TV. Backstage, Ian McNeice captures the essence of Winston Churchill on the screen and we find out how Mark went about writing the man behind the myth. E04 Eyes Wide Open
Alex Kingston, who plays River Song, talks about the highs and lows of being suspended on wires, and there's a look back with cast and crew at the Doctor and River Song's relationship so far. The Weeping Angels get a makeover for their long-awaited comeback and Matt Smith is photographed, scanned and 'rotoscoped' for the new online Doctor Who Adventure Games. E05 Blinded by the Light
Actress Karen Gillan tells how the 'Crack in Time' series story arc fits into this episode, while writer Steven Moffat describes how the very first crack in time was actually in his son's bedroom wall. As we prepare to say goodbye (for now) to River Song, the cast and crew examine the character's shady story so far and speculate about her possibly even shadier future, while Gillan gives a guided tour to Amy Pond's bedroom. Featuring interviews with Matt Smith, Karen Gillan and Alex Kingston.

E06 Death in Venice
The cast and crew get a trip abroad. But not to Venice, because as episode writer Toby Whithouse explains, modern day Venice doesn't really look like 16th century Venice anymore. Instead the episode is shot in Trogir, a small medieval town in Croatia that is the spitting image of 16th century Venice. However, Matt Smith and Toby Whithouse do take a trip to Venice and meet up with Francesco Da Mosto, who takes them on his boat and gives them a unique tour to illustrate how the world's most beautiful city works as a back drop to Toby's fiction. Narrated by Alex Price and featuring interviews with Matt Smith, Karen Gillan and Francesco Da Mosto.

E07 Arthurian Legend
The TARDIS trio are thrown into two competing worlds that are not what they seem. The Dream Lord has created a dilemma to be solved and Arthur Darvill, who plays Rory, is on hand to explain how the three companions set about finding out which world is really real. Confidential is on set to see Rory and Amy's future in Leadworth, complete with pregnancy, ponytails and predatory pensioners. Arthur turns stunt supremo, gliding through the air and picking a fight with an old lady. We also see the TARDIS from a safe haven to an ice-bound death trap, hurtling towards an icy end. Featuring exclusive access to the cast and crew, Arthur takes us through how an episode of Doctor Who is made, from read-through to wrap.

E08 After Effects
Behind-the-scenes series about the making of Doctor Who. Includes a journey through the production process of a Doctor Who epsiode from cutting room to living room.

E09 What Goes on Tour ...
The Confidential cameras follow the Doctor Who team as they travel the length and breadth of the UK to launch the new series, getting up close and personal with Matt Smith and Karen Gillan as they journey from Belfast to London, taking in emotional whistle-stop visits to their home towns along the way. There's exclusive access and personal insights from everyone involved with this unique tour. Digging deeper into the making of episode 9, there's a look at the creation of the stunning underground city and the lowdown on what it took to create the earth-shattering climax to this epic adventure.

E10 A Brush with Genius
The Doctor and Amy team up with artist Vincent van Gogh, the cast and crew travel to Croatia to see if they can recreate 19th century France in 21st century Trojir, and actor Tony Curran takes a tour of the J Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles to look at one of Van Gogh's most valuable paintings.

E11 Confidential gets on set and on side with James Corden as the Doctor decides it's time for a new housemate and ends up as the star of the local pub football team. Karen Gillan is starry eyed when she visits the Royal Greenwich Observatory to meet space scientist Maggie Aderin and discover what the time really is. Backstage, the Doctor is ready to find out what's lurking upstairs in Craig's house.

E12 Alien Abduction
The crew set out in the middle of a cold winter's night to film on the ancient site of Stonehenge, and take the ride of their lives to discover the true origin of the Pandorica.

E13 Out of Time
Confidential takes a closer look at the earth-shattering action of the series finale, helping viewers to make sense of the epic series of events that unfold. And in an exciting departure, Matt Smith and Karen Gillan take a bite out of the Big Apple to help launch the new series in the USA. Featuring interviews with Matt and Karen.
